Note that the oldest boy, Dick Johnson, does not mention that he is thankful for being teased mercilessly every day of his life.

Have a safe and happy holiday, all. And to those of you who are not celebrating Thanksgiving today . . . well . . . just carry on.

You can say what you want about Ward Cleaver--his penchant for frequenting stripper clubs, his rare Barbie doll collection, his running around with the mob---but, at least he made sure his family could afford turkey on Thanksgiving.

Mr. Johnson is a smooth operator. He deflects blame by laying guilt trips on his family members. Don't give up that morning newspaper with the Tuesday horse racing scorecard inserts, Mr. Johnson. Nope, that's more important than turkey on Thanksgiving. And refuse all requests from your employer to work a little overtime so you can, instead, spend quality time with your family for the purpose of challenging them to a evening of the ever-popular Johnson Thursday discussion game, "Why I love Pop in spite of his poor budgeting skills".

Who are these blog administrators and why don't they leave Jeff Hart's posts alone?

Were the posts deleted because something vile was said regarding my post? Were you trying to protect me from getting my feelings hurt? If so, thank you, because I don't want to cry and have my mascara ruined.
