Ha,ha. Look at the expression on his face. Priceless. In those days, if you made your living being funny, you had to make funny expressions every time you pose for a picture. It's like he's saying, "Never forget that I am a funny person." It must have been helpful to the talent scouts, too. You're looking through a bunch of photos and resumes, trying to find a funny person, and, man, that photo pretty much says, "I am a funny person. Hire me for your funny person role."
