What, you've never popped a can of quail eggs and kicked back to watch the macrame championships?
Wow, that is completely, utterly, unappealing.
I'm glad we have them, so that if we're ever starving to death, we can look at those things, and then we won't so much mind dying.
I have cooked fresh quail eggs (strangely, they take as long to soft-boil as hen's eggs do) and I can assure you they are delicious. But, as with everything, tinned are only alright if you have no self-respect.
